Martini Rosso vermouth is made from a blend of white wines, to which natural caramel gives a rich amber brownish color. A rich and expressive aroma is provided by herbal extracts, dominated by wormwood, ditto, dashi, and exotic tree bark. The taste is bright, with a well-balanced combination of sweetness and bitterness.
The Martini&Rossi company was founded in 1863. Thanks to many years of experience, it has become one of the most famous and popular drink manufacturers in the world. Martini Rosso is the very first vermouth of the company, produced back in 1863.
Rosso was the only type of vermouth that existed in the 19th century.
