Liliputas” – a Lithuanian semi-hard fermented cheese produced since 1958 at the Belvederis (Jurbarkas district near Seredžius) cheese factory. Handmade, cylindrical in shape with rounded edges, height 7.5–13.0 cm, diameter 7.0–8.5 cm, weight 0.4–0.7 kg. Naturally ripened, 50 percent fat content. Made from pasteurized cow’s milk. Mild-tasting, even-consistency cheese with a wax coating to preserve the freshness of the product. Used as a snack and condiment for dishes.
